I'm Defonsio Daniels Marine veteran, retired police officer, and lifelong servant to the people. From working the fields as a child of sharecroppers in Georgia and Florida to serving my country and community, every step of my journey has been fueled by hard work, faith, and a commitment to justice.
I've lived the challenges working families face and I've dedicated my life to standing up for those without a voice. Whether it's fighting for veterans, championing affordable housing, or empowering our youth, I bring leadership grounded in experience, not politics.
Now, I'm running for Congress to represent Georgia's 1st District to be your voice, your fighter, and your advocate in Washington.

Georgia is home to breathtaking landscapes and invaluable natural resources. I will champion environmental protections, invest in clean energy, and take action to ensure our air, water, coastline, and forests remain vibrant for generations to come.
Education
Every child no matter where they live deserves a quality education. I will fight for increased federal education funding, support our outstanding teachers, and guarantee our students have the resources to succeed.
Economy
As your representative, I'll drive economic growth for Georgia's First District by supporting small businesses, entrepreneurship, and job training. I'll address the housing crisis through affordable housing initiatives and responsible development.
Healthcare
Quality healthcare should never depend on your zip code or income level. I will champion efforts to expand healthcare services throughout our district, especially in rural and underserved areas, and work to lower prescription medication costs.
Infrastructure
Modern, reliable infrastructure is the backbone of a strong economy. I will secure investments for our roads, bridges, and public transportation, and prioritize internet connectivity so every resident can benefit from digital opportunities.
Community
No family should struggle to put healthy food on the table. I will confront food deserts by expanding access to grocery stores, supporting local farmers' markets, and incentivizing fresh food retailers in underserved areas.
